    RBI’s Central Board is the highest body of the RBI which takes decisions with regard to general direction of RBI policies. It is headed by the RBI Governor and has 21 members altogether. Four Deputy Governors of the RBI and two representatives of the Ministry of Finance are also part of this elite body.
4) Indian Railway on 1 November 2015 launched a new pilot scheme ‘Vikalp’ under scheme waitlisted passengers can get confirmed accommodation in next alternative train if they opt for the option while booking their tickets online.
It has initially been launched on a pilot basis on two sectors – Delhi-Lucknow and Delhi-Jammu.
Vikalp scheme will be available only for the tickets booked through internet for six months and option will be limited to mail and express trains on the two selected sectors.
    Passenger, if opts for the Vikalp scheme while booking tickets online, will get SMS alert on their mobile phone about getting confirmed accommodation in alternative train. Railway aims to achieve the twin objectives of providing confirmed accommodation to waitlisted passengers and ensure optimal utilisation of available accommodation by this scheme.

    As per Google, each balloon can provide connectivity to a ground area about 40 km in diameter using a wireless communications technology called LTE or 4G. One major advantage of this project will be that it will not require mobile towers for Internet transmission.

    Investors can buy a minimum of 2 units or 2 grams and a maximum at 500 grams per fiscal year. Investors will get a fixed rate of interest of 2.75% per annum (payable every 6 months) on the initial value of investment.
    The bonds have a maturity period of 8 years, with exit option from the fifth year. Holdings can be redeemed in multiples of one gram.

Features of OROP scheme -

• Those drawing pensions above the average will be protected.
• In future, the pension would be re-fixed every 5 years.
• Arrears will be paid in four half-yearly instalments.
• All widows, including war widows, will be paid arrears in one instalment.
• Personnel who voluntarily retire will not be covered under the scheme.
• The estimated cost to the exchequer would be 8000 to 10000 crore at present, and will increase further in future.

    Maximum Pay: Rs. 2,25,000 per month (for Apex Scale and Rs. 2,50,000 per month for Cabinet Secretary)
    In percentage terms the overall increase in pay and allowances and pension will be 23.55%.
    Within this the increase in pay will be 16%, increase in allowances will be 63% and increase in pension would be 24%.

It is the 14th terrorism-related resolution adopted by the UNSC since 1999.

Financial support will be provided in acquiring of patent from across the globe based on applications received from MSMEs. Technology/Patent will be licensed to selected companies and the selected companies will get a subsidy of 50 percent of the mutually agreed value or 20 lakh rupees.
132) Delhi Government approved Jan Lokpal Bill, 2015
The Bill envisages the establishment of an independent authority to investigate offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. It also covers the Chief Minister’s Office. Largely resembles the provisions contained in Uttarakhand Lokayukta Bill, 2011.
The bill prescribes time-bound investigation of offences within six months and states that as far as possible the trial in such cases should be completed in six months. It also allows authorities to provisionally attach assets acquired by corrupt means.
It provides that punishment for any act of corruption cannot be less than six months and a maximum of 10 years. In rarest or rare cases, the corrupt public servant can be sentenced to life imprisonment. It seeks to bring Delhi Police, Delhi Development Authority and municipal bodies under its ambit.

It is available through especially developed mobile app interface on Android, IOS and windows platforms for wider access.
Shaala Siddhi web portal is a comprehensive instrument for school evaluation which enables the schools to evaluate their performance in more focused and strategic manner. The web-portal will help all schools to assess themselves and the results can be seen by all enabling them to provide feedback.
Saransh is a tool which allows the schools to identify areas of improvement in students, teachers and curriculum to facilitate and implement change. The platform is presently available for classes 9th to 12th and provides a comprehensive overview of standard 10th performance since 2007 and standard 12th performance since 2009 till the current academic session.
